Our Coping thru Counseling coping outlet was created to promote the importance of Coping with the emotional effects of Survivorship on a deeper level and in a more formal environment, and Counseling is one great way to do that.

Counseling is a process of self-discovery that can help people learn how to deal more effectively with situations in their lives, including the effects of Survivorship. However, you do not need to be a Survivor or have a major crisis or concern in order to talk with a Counselor. Counseling can help in many areas of life. It can help you make decisions and deal with stress, even if you only have concerns about general daily challenges. Whether you want to find ways to understand and manage your concerns, clarify and prioritize your needs or even just find answers to a problem, Counseling, including Spiritual Counseling, can be a healthy coping outlet for people from any background or experience.

Although the goal of our other coping outlets is to also aid in the emotional and spiritual recovery of Survivorship, those outlets are often times implemented in a more casual, non-formal environment. And although each of them has proven to be essential to Survivorship in their own way, our Coping thru Counseling coping outlet provides Survivors with the opportunity to not only dig deeper into the emotional effects of Survivorship, but it helps them to better understand the impact those emotions have on their ability to Cope during their Survivorship Journey, and it does this in a more formal environment with the guidance and support of a trained professional and/or spiritual advisor.

The overall purpose of the Cope Well Foundation’sCoping thru Counseling coping outlet is simple; to aid in the emotional recovery of Survivors on a deeper, more formal, level. Through this message, we hope to lead by example for those around us and make a difference in the lives of others, so that together we will ‘Cope Well to Live Well’.
